Muay Thai / Thai Boxing
Muay Thai, or Thai Boxing is the national sport of Thailand, and is a fighting technique adapted from the battlefield techniques of the Thai army thousands of years ago. Known as the Science of Eight Limbs, Muay Thai boxing makes use of the knees and elbows as well as kicks and punches.
It is a safe, effective and most importantly, a fun form of exercise which is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. It is one of the most effective methods of training, a great stress reliever and great fun, and all the while, you are increasing your fitness, physique, strenght and agility.
A typical class includes:
- Aerobic & Sports Specific Warm-up
- Padwork
- Strength & Conditioning
- Core Stability
- Stretching and Flexibility training.
Classes for beginners are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm and cost just €8 per class. Weekly and Monthly discounted prices are also on offer for those attending regularly.
